May 1, 2022 (EAST HANOVER, NJ) - Secure Cloud Services, Inc. (SCS) announced today that it is joining the Sage Partner Cloud as a Strategic Hosting Provider, allowing Sage 100 and Sage 300 customers to leverage the Sage Cloud in SCS’s existing cybersecure hosting services. SCS is also now recognized as an accredited Sage Partner cloud platform joining other third-party solutions on the Sage Price List.
The Sage Partner Cloud program was launched in 2020 to grant Sage ERP users a clear, seamless pathway to the cloud from their traditionally on-premise software. While Sage 100cloud (formerly Sage 100c) and Sage 300cloud (formerly Sage 300c) offer cloud connectivity, only by hosting their applications can Sage 100 and Sage 300 customers gain the advantages of SaaS-based features. These include access to real-time updates (such as security patches), scalable storage online, and automated business continuity procedures.
Migration to cloud-based environments steadily grew even before the 2020 COVID-19 outbreak, but increased significantly during the global pandemic as many organizations were forced to shift operations to a Work from Home (WFH) paradigm. The Sage Partner Cloud was deployed to enable on-premise Sage ERP users to be able to retain the data still in use with their legacy systems, remain in the Sage ecosystem and keep pace with competitors leveraging new technologies.
Sage 100 and Sage 300 customers seeking added cybersecurity for their hosted applications and data have the option of engaging Secure Cloud Services hosting, which helps plug in the security gaps that can form internally in cloud networks. Mass market hosting providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) harden server defenses on their end, but leave the burden of protecting local endpoints and user access in the hands of their clients. Many SMBs lack the resources, expertise and bandwidth to oversee every network security requirement around the clock, leaving them exposed to both external and insider threats.
Secure Cloud Services combines modern cybersecurity solutions with best practice and proactive intrusion monitoring run by our security operations center (SOC). The SOC team manages network security on the back end of the customer’s environment, hunting for hacker footprints and responding to incidents before a potential breach can spread throughout other systems. This methodology ensures that Sage ERP customers hosted in SCS’s cybersecure cloud platform are leveraging human cyber intelligence coupled with modern workstation protections to guarantee 360-degree cyber defense, active 24x7x365.
As Secure Cloud Services is now listed on the Sage Price List, certified Sage value-added resellers (VARs) are able to white label SCS’s application hosting for resale while receiving tier credit. This allows VARs to improve their margins as a Sage partner by adding to their portfolio of Sage-certified ISV (independent software vendor) solutions. Partners are able to choose between Sage Partner Cloud’s Microsoft Azure environment or one hosted by SCS to migrate their Sage 100 and Sage 300 customers to the cloud - contact Secure Cloud Services about additional limited time offers on white label hosting opportunities.
